Any suggestions are gratefully received and thoughtfully considered. If you think having the search box in a slightly different location would make your experience on this site that little bit easier, say so here.

There is a wealth of data behind the prices that get retrieved twice every week - if you have ideas on how this could best be presented, we'd love to know.

Coles recently announced a promotion where if you spend $300 or more in one purchase at any of their grocery stores, you can receive a $0.40 per litre fuel discount at selected petrol stations. Now surely Coles are still making money from this perceived 'generosity'... this saving would be added onto the price of the grocery purchase.

Wouldn't this mean that we are therefore worse off if we do not choose to make the most of the offered discount? Are we being forced to pay higher prices for a promotion that we don't really need anymore considering fuel prices are reasonably low at present?

Coles know full well they can dangle this carrot and look like the good guys, when only a small percentage of clientele will take them up on their offer.
